Hush Street is tracking what’s being built in Ridgewood, Maspeth, Glendale and Middle Village, the neighborhoods of Queens Community Board 5.
This is a low-rise part of Queens with a large industrial and warehouse district in Maspeth, and much of its new building is small. The biggest residential plan is at the Myrtle-Wyckoff transit hub, where buyers who paid $37 million for a seven-lot block have filed for four 13-story buildings with about 388 apartments. Nearby, the 17-story tower known as The Ridgewood finally finished after a fatal 2022 accident and years of delay.
On Oct. 1, 2026 the city named the district one of 12 for its new Affordable Housing Fast Track, which from January 2027 shortens review for qualifying rezonings in districts that produced the least affordable housing. Two small private rezonings are already in the pipeline. The planned Interborough Express light rail would add four stations here, though only half its cost is funded.
Where DOB records and press reports disagree on heights or unit counts, both are given. A permit is not treated as proof that construction has started.
