558 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY trades for $201M

Overview

The City University of New York acquired the commercial condominium unit at 558 Grand Concourse in the Bronx from BPO Master Tenant LLC, according to a deed dated Sept. 10, 2026 and recorded Sept. 18, 2026. City records show a recorded amount of $200,920,880.

The property is the Bronx General Post Office building. Commercial Observer reported in September 2025 that CUNY would lease the entire building at 558 Grand Concourse.

The deed lists BPO Master Tenant LLC, care of Maddd Equities LLC, as the grantor. Commercial Observer reported that BPO Owner purchased 558 Grand Concourse for $44 million in July 2025 from YoungWoo & Associates and Bristol Group.

The recorded transfer puts the landmarked Bronx General Post Office building into the hands of CUNY, which Commercial Observer reported had agreed a year earlier to lease the entire building.
